We heard from customers across the globe how they needed extra reinforcement and practice utilising the fraction strand in mathematics. In responding to this feedback, we created the fourth edition in our Think Tank series supporting the concepts of fractions, decimals and ratios. This resource mimics the makeup of the other Think Tanks in the series as the activities are organized into 12 sets of 20 cards that have been sequenced so that the difficulty level increases from one set to the next. Answers for each card are separate from the student’s card. Each box also contains a reproducible student progress chart, a pre/post assessment card, and brief teachers’ notes.
Reasoning about fractions builds concepts and reinforces operational skills of fractions, decimals, and ratios.
